Valley of Desolation, Bolton Abbey 1982

E-mail this product to a friend

“In 1826 a storm devastated this area and gave the valley its name.  Today it is a place of great beauty.  This waterfall in the valley running down to the river Wharfe, is on the route of a popular hike from Bolton Abbey, founded in 1151, to Simon’s Seat, the gritstone outcrop at the top of the fell.  This is the local name for hills in Yorkshire, England.  The whole area is owned by the Duke of Devonshire.” Simon Bull

Rare and hard to find early watercolors by Simon Bull. These are priced well and ready to frame.  Please call our Original Art Sales Representative , Damon, at 760-799-8639 or Email us for Availability or to make offer.
